Alone again...

Justine left yesterday morning. We got up at 5:20 and got a taxi that took us to Leuchars for our train to Edinburgh at 6:20. We got on the train and everything was good; we got to Edinburgh with plenty of time to spare. We hopped on the bus that took us right to the airport. After Justine checked in and checked her bag, we found out her flight was going to be delayed. We went upstairs and sat down for awhile right before the checkpoint where you need a boarding pass. Eventually, she had to go and we said our farewells... I hated it. It was definitely really hard to say goodbye. I had such a great week with her! We were together most of the time she was here and it was so nice having her around. I always had someone to talk to and, especially with us, laugh with! So anyway...I miss her tons. She eventually got on her flight from Edinburgh to London Gatwick since it was delayed a bit. I got back on the bus and it took me to Waverly Station where I got off and walked to the bus station. I walked past mc donalds and was tempted to get some chicken nuggets, but they were still on breakfast...(which I didn't expect...I had forgotten what time it was!) So I passed that up...got to the bus station and was on my way back to St Andrews. I went to class and took an exam in Greek which I probably did ok in. I got back to my room and my mom called to tell me that Justine had been trying to get ahold of me and she is stuck in London for the night...oh gosh...during the phone call Justine did call me! I got to talk to her for a minute..she was doing ok, she'd leave in the morning and she was able to stay in the airport overnight and not have to buy a hotel room. She couldn't get her phone card to work to call me and she was calling from the information desk's phone. I was so glad to hear she was all right but I really really wish I could be there with her. I don't like to think of her being alone in a big airport. She hasn't called me since then...but I kept my phone on loud next to my pillow all night just in case. I have been looking on the Gatwick airport website and I found a Northwest flight going to Detroit at 1:30ish...I am not sure if that is hers or if she left earlier... I wish I could talk to her! I love you Justine! :D

I have to do some homework today unfortunately. I am not really myself when it comes to academia here. I want to explore more than do homework. I know these classes will be on my GPA so that does push me towards doing better...but none of them, right now, are courses that are essential to my major and are just supplementary. We'll see how it works out...I am looking forward to my parents and brother coming to visit next week. It will be nice to have someone around that I know very well again. It should be a lot of fun!
